Silence
I sat in the silence for five minutes and I realized how dependent us teens are nowadays on not only technology but the longing to be communicated with, it showed that it can be peaceful yes but then again quite nerve wrecking knowing that you can't make a sound and in the bear silence and solitude of your room, for me it was kind of relaxing to the point where I almost went to sleep because since I have so many younger siblings getting some nice and quiet time is great and just a good way to feel my own and feel at ease. So there's both pros and cons to this.
Soyinka Hedges Berry Carson
Soyinka: "I grew up in an atmosphere where words were an integral part of culture."
~Her quote describes how she felt and where or more say explains how her feelings toward culture and so on would be different from others, and it's just a better view on things than other, she gives herself an pathological feel behind her reasoning its also a little ethological depending on how people would take it.
Hedges:"War and the nationalist myth that fuels it are the purveyors of low culture-folklore, quasi-historical dramas, kitsch, sentimental doggerel, and the theater and film the portray the glory of the solders in past wars or currents wars dying nobly for their homelands."
~This quote specifies how the culture scene binds with the scene of how he feels toward glory and grace and so on, its a more of a sypmnotic view on something that wouldn't looked at in this sense or light.

Quotes, yo!
1~"That government is best which governs least."
2~"Break the law. Let your life be a counter-friction to stop the machine."
3~"For it matters not how small the beginning may seem to be: what is once well done is done forever."
4~"Cast your whole vote not a strip of paper merely but your whole influence."
5~"Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also a prison."
I agree with number one because it is his way of showing how he feels toward the government in such a sense that we can metaphorically relate to, cause nobody no matter who you are likes being told what to do and the best way in most humans eyes to be governed or "controlled" is by letting us learn by our own mistakes, letting us do what we want then learning from our wrongs.
I agree with number two because it also kind of relates to my theory in number one, we can make our own decisions and choices so let us counter act our wrongs with rights so we know not to mess up or make the same mistake again in the near future.
I agree with number three because it doesn't matter what you begin with usually the only thing that will matter is how you end something and whether you come out strong or not, it doesn't depend on how you started off whether it was bad, or struggling but as long as you've achieved your goals and dreams you should be happy with yourself.
I agree with number four because it doesn't matter in any situation that you are in speak your mind, who knows where it'll get you it might lead you to great things. You never know unless you try and if you give your all or put your input into something it could turn out great, maybe even better than you had expected.
And lastly I agree with number five because if our freedom and creativity will be imprisoned than so will our body but you "Can't imprison my mind" whether or not you take away my freedom we will stand up in what we believe in.

Mentor
I personally don't think I have a mentor and if I did I don't know who it would be, what I consider a good mentor to be is someone who deep down knows the person for who they truly are and can accept that persons flaws and help change them for the better. The benefits of having a mentor is having someone who you feel as if you can relate to on a one on one status and know that they only push you to a certain extent to try and better you. Three significant lessons that mentors can teach others are:
*How to value not only themselves but others.
*To love all including themselves.
*And lastly how to have fun, since we are getting older the idea to have fun and imagine is slowly dying.

Walden Chnages My Routine!
I changed my morning routine and it totally messed me up and had a huge effect not only on me but everyone else in my house, see I don't yet have my license so I rely on my mother for transportation purposes and we have to be out of my house at a certain time with me have three little sisters n all where they go to different schools. Instead of me getting up washing my face brushing my teeth then getting dressed and eating breakfast I ate breakfast, got dressed brushed my teeth then finally washed my face. It made me feel different like as if I had forgotten what I was doing, like I felt as if I wasn't going to school this morning. It was easy to break but difficult to stick to I kept wanting to fall back on certain things to do them in a certain order. I learned that my original routine is much simpler and is the reason why I'm ready at a certain time to leave my house atta certain time.
